Después de haber hablado sobre Descartes, Lacan, la subjetividad racional moderna y la noción de detrito, fue muy simpático encontrarme esto en una reseña que estaba leyendo:
For Lacan, this Cartesian procedure is nothing less than the structure of alienation. In his early reading, the cogito appeared as the reverse side of the unconscious; later, in La logique du fantasme, Lacan reversed himself and claimed that the cogito is the unconscious. Descartes establishes being by “throwing thought in the waste bin”: treating thought as refuse, a detritus to be expelled so that pure being may emerge. Yet what is expelled does not vanish without a trace; it persists as the unconscious, the remainder of thinking that continues precisely where I am not.
